ABOUT THE AUTHORS

Darrel and Sally Odgers are the joint authors of the Jack Russell: Dog Detective series. They were both born in Tasmania in 1957, and have been married since 1979. They have two grown up children, James and Tegan. Their first book together was Time Detectors, which was published by Shortland Publications in the 1990s. This was followed by Time Dectectors ll, A Theft in Time, CD and the Giant Cat, and some shorter books for the educational market.

The THE JACK RUSSELL series is their most successful collaboration so far. In 2008 Jack was joined by his daughter Trump, the narrator and heroine of a new series, PET VET.
